Tara Christian has heard voices and they haven’t been friendly.  She’s been homeless.  She’s attempted suicide.  She’s dealt with substance abuse and to look at her now?  You wouldn’t believe it!  She’s making a difference and what a difference she’s made in her own life, and now she’s involved with the San Fernando Valley Mental Health Services Inc.’s Client Run Center and Recovery Panel.  She joins us in studio with Kathleen Piche’ from the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health.  The SFVMHS is an LACDMH provider.


In our Proposition 63 Mental Health Services Action segment,   Andrea Crook,  involved in anti-stigma programs in the Sacramento Capital Region joins Jennifer Whitney to talk about her continuing path to Hope, Wellness, Recovery and Resiliency NOW with a newborn.   Andrea shares her candid story about current and future plans and the importance of peer-to-peer recovery for the family.
