Tom Hanks, Glenn Close and Free Your Mind Project’s Host Wendy, have “ONE MIND… for Research” on the Red Carpet at the Circle of Hope Gala to benefit One Mind For Research. Lynn Padlow joins Jennifer Whitney on the Proposition 63 Mental Health Services Action Segment with a very personal story that gives others hope.

The Circle of Hope gala to benefit One Mind For Research was a big success and very inspirational. Tom Hanks spoke with Wendy about PTS(d) with soldiers and the importance of finding and getting help, and ALSO, the problem with stigma. Glenn Close, a founder of BringChange2Mind and sister of Free Your Mind Projects Radio Guest favorite Jessie Close also continued the “anti-stigma” conversation, and shared what she learned….or didn’t learn in her role as “Alex” in the film “Fatal Attraction”. One Mind For Research benefits us all in their quest to find a cure for all Brain Disorders within the next 9 years! Our Proposition 63 Mental Health Services Action Segment with Jennifer Whitney is a MUST LISTEN for parents this week. Lynn Padlow of NAMI Stanislaus County joins Jen to share her and her daughter’s story with tips for parents to spot and act upon early warning signs of mental illness. Lynn is a passionate advocate for NAMI and for the importance of education for Prevention and Early Intervention of mental illness.
